The journey from Muscat and to Barka allows you to know the Omani life in general.  We stop at the thriving Barka fish souq.

Next stop is the enchanting Wadi Abyadh. Indulge in water splashing in the pristine rocky waters.

Time for Picnic Lunch.

Now head off to yet another location with a traditional charm: Wadi Mistal, lying along the Hajar Mountain Ranges. Enjoy a long, 30 km drive through the wadi, and we are at the entrance to two ancient villages: Hadash and Wekan. A steep drive up the winding rocky terrain gets us to the lush agricultural village of Wekan. At about 1700m above sea level, and with a moderate weather, the place radiates a unique charm accentuated by its fruit farms. Local farmers grow pomegranates, grapes, walnuts, apricots and dates.

After a well spent afternoon and evening, we are off to Muscat.
