An interesting drive to the Taqa Castle. You also get to see traditional Dhofari houses with intrinsically carved doors.

The next stop is Wadi Darbat, famed for its natural, magnificent and pristine lake and the majestic waterfall. Move on and we reach the  Darbat caves known for prehistoric paintings and inscriptions.

Time for picnic lunch.

Next, we visit the Tawi Atayr Sink Hole, with a depth of 211 meters and width of 130 meters. You can do some bird watching here.

We will take you to the Ain Hamran excavation site on our way back to the hotel.
