Barka is a calm seaside town with a unique laid-back charm. Small souqs lie scattered across the town. Another attraction is the fort. We continue our trip to Nakhal, where we get to see the historic Nakhal Fort on a hillock. This pre-Islamic fort is significant for its connection with the Al Ya’ruba and the Al Busayed dynasties. Next you are going to visit one of the region’s  most amazing mineral hot springs: the Nakhal Hot Spring.

Time to settle in the cool shade of lovely trees and have your Picnic Lunch. The last stop on this trip is Rustaq, again a place laden with the richness of history. Its pre-Islamic fort gives amazing opportunities for photos and selfies that can get you instant likes on social media. Oh, it’s evening and it’s time to go back to Muscat.
