This 4WD tour will literally make you spellbound. You pass beautiful hamlets of Fanjah and Izki before stopping by at Nizwa. Visit the souqs and fort and get a feel of the old charm of this Old Capital of Oman.

Wrapping up this short visit to Nizwa, we proceed to the ancient land of Al Hamra, where the enchanting Wadi Ghul awaits you with its treasures. You get to see a lot of significant historical ruins, especially in the old village of Ghul.

A visit to the immensely talented local weavers who are famous for the exquisite rugs is highly recommended.  Next, we are off to Jebel Shams, the highest peak in Oman standing tall at 3000 meters.

Time to enjoy your picnic lunch.  Take in as much as you can the thrilling views of the Grand Canyon, before moving to the ancient village of Misfat Al Abrein where time stands still. The scenic village with water canals and lush vegetation is situated on the mountain side, and is noted for its ancient adobe houses built in the traditional Omani architectural style and the age-old simple lifestyle of its people.  A perfect location to spend the evening.
